Abstract
This Christmas issue highlights the benefits of nature and the teaching of nature study. Agricultural articles pertain to the progress of agriculture in Canada, modern dairying methods, and creating productive pastureland in Eastern Ontario. Horticultural articles address preparations for the Christmas season and a continuation of the series of articles on the peach industry. An interesting article is a travel diary by Professor Hutt and his attendance at an aboriginal theatre performance in Kensington Point, Ontario. One of the student contributors submitted a short story, while another comments on the poetry written by faculty members when they were students. The editorial comments on the history of the O. A. C. Review. Campus news reports on the International Livestock Exposition, the work of the Y. M. C. A., and Union Literary Society. The Macdonald Institute column includes a photograph of the first class of the Institute and an article on the mandate of the college. The athletics column provides an update on the football and hockey teams. The "Our Old Boys Page" contains alumni news. While the Locals column provides campus humour.
