Abstract: This issue begins the new school year with a welcome to the students. Provided in this issue is a short biography of each of the 1903 graduates including their countries of origin, some photographs are included. Beginning in this issue is a series of nature studies articles. The agricultural articles pertain to the business of agricultural education, the development of larger farms, and the judging of beef cattle. The horticultural articles provide information on the peach industry, pruning raspberries, and propagating grapes. Campus news reports on the completion of the construction of the Macdonald Institute and the first class of women in the domestic science program. This issue includes the inaugural column for the Macdonald Institute. Other news addresses the need for a livestock judging team, the annual meeting of the Ontario Agricultural and Experimental Union, and start of the sports season. The "Our Old Boys Page" contains alumni news. While the Locals column provides campus humour.
