dc.description.abstract The seminar which has produced this poster looked at a question: Is Twitter profound or pretentious? Which debated whether 140 characters can really make any difference in the world. The students examined Twitter as a technological, cultural, economic, political, and social force. Using Twitter itself as a platform for interaction, the students engaged in a global dialogue about its nature, influence, and future possibilities. The poster includes images of tweets by students in the seminar and some of the discussion that occurred over the course of the class. en_US
