Title: Scotch Myths - Fall 2013
Author: FYS F2013 Class 10
Abstract: In this seminar students chose a Scottish icon (including tartan, kilts, bagpipes, whisky, haggis, etc.) and examined how it originated, the changing or stable meanings which it has held through time, and the ways in which it is used today, including by politicians and commercial interests both in Scotland and abroad.
