dc.description.abstract This report summarizes the results of sweet corn variety trials conducted in 1979. Coordinated trials of early cultivars was conducted at Trenton and Simcoe. There were 4 reps of 10 cultivars and 2 reps of 15 cultivars. Additional Obsrevation trials -2 reps- at Simcoe included 60 commercial cultivars, 16 experimental hybrids submitted for trial and 65 experimental hybrids produced at the Horticultural Experiment Station, Simcoe. Due to the dry weather in mid-July, there was one irrigation applied at Simcoe and two irrigations at Trenton. en_US
