Abstract
This is the graduation issue containing lists of the examination results, scholarships, and awards for 120 students of the Ontario Agricultural College. Notably the recipient of the general proficiency award was, Miss Regina Van Der Hoorn. Agricultural articles in this issue pertain to the milk-marketing problem and the Ontario Milk Board, the banana industry in Central America, cultivating tobacco in Canada, the invention of the Electric Eye for soil analysis, and controlling warble flies. Articles related to the major drought in the Prairies address the American Plains Shelterbelt Project to combat the effects of droughts and Western Canada's drought and soil drifting problem. Student contributions include a short story, one student's experience studying birds in Labrador, and another student's impression of the Grassland Congress in Switzerland. A student of the O. V. C. comments on women who smoke cigarettes and feminists. The Macdonald Institute column remarks on the success of the Senior Dinner and the benefits of good mental health. Campus news reports on the 1935 Girls' Conference and the O. A. C. elections. The Alumni column highlights the Annual Summer Reunion for alumni of the O. A. C. and Macdonald Institute. This issue does not contain a Locals column.
