Abstract
This summer issue begins with a photograph and history of the Massey Hall and Library. Summer themed topics include a history of swimming, photographs from student's travels, and commentary on golfing. Agricultural articles pertain to a student's visit to a canning factory, the cultivation of rice, the Dominion Provincial Pasture Committee meeting, instruction on how to control wireworms in greenhouses, and a history of the breadfruit tree. Other articles include travel diaries of student visits to China and Venezuela, the chemistry knowledge required for photography, the success of the Farmer's Week on campus, and a history of the Biology Department. Included in this issue is another tropical themed short story. The highlight of the Macdonald Institute column is the examination results and an account of the graduation ceremonies. This issue does not contain an Alumni or Locals column.
