Abstract: This issue also includes a supplement for October 29, 1936. The editorial reports on the value of a post-secondary education, faculty changes on campus, and the field husbandry trip. Of interest is a survey of men and women's residence rules from across Canada. Articles in this issue include a reflection on autumn, highlights of the travels of the Landscape Option students, and the Champlain Monument in Orillia, Ontario. Agricultural articles pertain to the fruit growing in the United States and agricultural practices in England. The literary section announces the results of the investment in new books for the library and the athletic articles focus on the game of rugby and other autumn athletic endeavors. While the College Life column extends a welcome to the students, announces the marriages of several alumni, provides a short story, and updates regarding the campus contingent of the C. O. T. C. - O. A. C. The Macdonald Institute column presents a welcome to the returning seniors and threats of initiation to the new juniors. Alumni news includes reviews of various alumni banquets, alumni updates, and additions to the father and son's alumni list. Alumnus Lloyd Herman writes to The Review of his meeting with actress Mae West.
