Title: O. A. C. Review Volume 49 Issue 2, November 1936
Author: Ontario Agricultural College
Abstract: This issue begins with editorials on the possession of property, and the dissemination of global agricultural research. Agricultural articles pertain to straining honey for the commercial market, utilizing hormones for plant propagation, and medicinal grasses. The literary section reports on the guest lecture by Induck Pak of Korea, a debate on armaments, and hosting a British debating team. The Macdonald Institute column provides the women's sports notes, poetry, and a short story. The feature of the Alumni News is providing a profile of each member of the O. A. C. Class of 1896 including a reprint of their portrait photographs in the Farmer's Advocate. Other articles review the statue of Louis Herbert, the first European farmer in Quebec and the pioneer tool exhibit at the college. Campus news comments on the rationalisation of human thought, the debt agricultural research has to indigenous culture, and the S. C. M. meeting. The Macdonald Alumnae column provides alumnae updates and a farewell to Dr. Annie Ross. The athletic news provides updates on the season's sports of rugby, soccer, track, and swimming.
