Abstract:
|
This seminar explored poverty in Canada, the U.S., and parts of Europe and the gap that exists between the rich and the poor. This poster examines the barriers that people living in poverty in the United States face when trying to enter postsecondary education. Four barriers were identified and analyzed that people living in poverty face. Recommendations are made for how the government can facilitate access to postsecondary education and how impoverished people themselves can get a better education. |
