dc.description.abstract The following play explores the nature of perceptions surrounding Canada’s Indigenous community, both from within and without. It is based on the relationship between Lee Maracle and Tyler Pennock. It weaves together poetry, experience, and current events. The play examines the idle no more movement, seen from the eyes of two people involved in University. Set within Victoria Island, the two characters explore their lives and feelings around being indigenous in today’s society, and around being a people in captivity. en_US
