dc.description.abstract A total of 171 cultivars, strains and breeding lines of tomatoes were grown on the Ridgetown College of Agricultural Technology campus. These were submitted for trial by seed companies and experiment stations. The seedlings were grown in our greenhouses and field-set on May 23/25, 1973 with a planting distance of 5.0 x 2.0 feet, for handpicked and 5.0 x 1.0 feet for machine trials respectively. en_US
