Title: Studies on vole acid-fast bacillus as an immunzing agent against experimental tuberculosis
Author: MacNabb, Andrew Leslie
Abstract: In the present study an attempt has been made to determine the effect of vaccination of calves with the vole acid-fast bacillus on subsequent tuberculous infection. A limited nuber of experiments had already been conducted by different investigators employing vole acid-fast bacillus as an immunizing agent against experimental tuberculosis. The results obtained by the authors appear to be highly encouraging and it was thought further study was justified.
