Title: Soy protein lowers 'bad' cholesterol in adults with type 2 diabetes

Abstract: Soy protein reduced the levels of certain types of cholesterol in adults with type 2 diabetes and therefore may reduce the risk of developing CVD. In this study, soy protein reduced LDL cholesterol and the ratio of apolipoprotein B:apolipoprotein A-I when compared to milk protein.
