Abstract

Dollar spots are tan patches of grass that are caused by disease and drought. This study tested the efficiency of the sponsor’s fertilizer on dollar spot disease in creeping bentgrass on a putting green turf. Data was also collected on the colour, strength, quality, density, uniformity and the turf's resistance to disease. It was concluded that all treatments had positive statistical significance in reducing dollar spots over the control. Treatment with Protocol and Enfoss was seen to have the greatest decrease in the dollar spots, however, it was concluded that all treatments left an unacceptable level of dollar spot disease.
