Abstract: Approximately 570 plants were put on display in the garden trial for evaluation of betting plant potential. Plants such as Petunias, geranium, kalanchoes, and ivy were planted in the grown as well as 14” containers. Evaluation of garden plants was evaluated every 2 weeks. New in 2005 was the All-American Selections trial with a bedding-plant judging site. Other trials conducted include all-planted overwatering pansy and viola trial, blooms of Bressingham new variety hardiness and performance trial, bin cooperation with the association of specialty cut flower growers, drought trial, and the boulevard plant species evaluation trial.
