dc.description.abstract This paper is a critical review of previous research on the adoption of soil conservation practices. It is concerned with work that has explored the cultural aspects of soil conservation in attempts to reduce land degradation. This paper addresses conservation practices to reduce water-borne soil erosion in particular.
