Research Publications Supporting the Key Findings

Robust scientific research is critical to ensure farmers have the information they need to make on-farm decisions and to advance the Ontario agri-food sector. Two Ontario Crops Research Centres, located in Elora and Ridgetown, have housed experiments in long-term crop rotation, tillage systems, and nitrogen management since 1980 and 1995, respectively. These research stations, owned by the Agricultural Research Institute of Ontario, are operated and managed by the University of Guelph through the Ontario Agri-Food Innovation Alliance.

This collection of research studies stems from research that leveraged the long-term rotation plots at either research station, or data from those plots, to inform key findings.
