Abstract: The objectives of this study are to 1) find and describe available literature on past and current protocols used in enterotoxigenic E. coli (ETEC) challenge trials to determine efficacy of interventions for post-weaning E. coli diarrhea in pigs 2) investigate whether these protocols were able to produce a consistent diarrheal response and 3) detect any gaps in the literature on this topic.
