Abstract: The study seeks to determine the advantages and disadvantages of Brownfield redevelopment within the cities of Guelph and Waterloo. It could be a basis for public education, as it can help educate the public on why Brownfield redevelopment is important. This research can inform policy formulation and implementation in Guelph and Waterloo. Additionally by comparing the two regions it will potentially inform planners of the best of both as well as areas that need improvement.
