dc.description.abstract In 2015 the Rural Ontario Municipal Association created a Rural Lens consider changes impacts to rural communities which may be impacted by an amendment to existing practices and operations such that they would not cause injurious impacts to rural communities. Utilizing the rural lens this Thesis looks at the existing practice of water management in the rural areas and considers implementing a more formalized approach to rural water management utilizing what we know about urban stormwater management techniques. en_US
