Abstract

This report presents the results of a watershed drainage study conducted for the Sauble Valley Conservation Authority. The purpose of the study was to identify both positive and negative consequences of land drainage on the resources of the upper Sauble River watershed. More specifically, the purpose of the study was to: a) document and analyze historical trends in drainage work in the study area and in-stream flow, groundwater supply, water quality and aquatic habitats


b) provide information on the possible impacts of potential future drainage changes


and c) provide recommendations on possible means of alleviating potential impacts of existing and future drainage alterations.
