Author: Agriculture and Agri-Food Climate Change Table
Abstract: In response to the Kyoto Protocol, Canada’s First Ministers asked their Environment and Energy Ministers to develop a comprehensive national strategy to reduce Canadian greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. The Ministers created the National Climate Change Secretariat who established 16 Issue Tables to examine options for reducing Canada’s GHG emissions.
