Title: Touchstone Tours UX Study - Final Report
Author: McLaughlin, Juliene; Rayment, Erik
Abstract: In November 2018, the UX Team asked users to take us on tours of the library to help us improve our spaces. Eight students led tours and shared their impressions, knowledge, and personal opinions about different features of the first and second floors of the library. Based on our findings, we recommend: (1) improving signage for specialized spaces on the second floor; (2) explaining the purpose, who is permitted, and how to use each space; (3) focusing attention on creating a more inviting atmosphere; and (4) creating more quiet study spaces.
