Title: Graduate Student Library Space UX Study - Final Report
Author: McLaughlin, Juliene; Bergart, Robin
Abstract: The Library's UX Team interviewed graduate students in July 2018 to find out their perspectives on library space. Based on our findings we recommend: (1) reinstating dedicated carrels for registered graduate students; (2) designating a select few Group Study Rooms for graduate use only; (3) experimenting with lockers to hold books for graduate students; (4) seriously exploring a graduate student access space/floor; (6) balancing maximum seating capacity with quality of space; and (7) promoting graduate spaces broadly.
