Abstract
This brief issue begins the new school year with a welcome to the new students. The major article is an informative piece regarding the sport of rugby. The focus of the agricultural news is that the college's judging team won the world championship at the World's Grain Exhibition and Conference. The other article pertains to the work of the Rothamsted Experiment Station. The Macdonald Institute column is devoted to an article evaluating the nutritional value of shredded wheat. The Alumni Record contains a letter from John Kenneth "Spike" Galbraith and the suggestion to form a University Veterans League for college veterans of World War 1. Campus news reports that the college groups are about to form their societies for the new school year.
