Abstract

This summer issue begins with an article on the success of the Saskatchewan Registered Seed Growers Limited. Agricultural articles in this issue pertain to the history and methods of genetically modifying fruit, instructions on building a hygienic dairy barn floor, and herbicides that are efficient. Other articles address an explanation of the mandate of the Packet Loan Library and book reviews of recent library acquisitions. Also included in this issue is a reprint of an address given at St. Andrew's University regarding the ideals of a university education. The editorial comments on how to obtain postgraduate employment. Campus news reports on the 1930 convocation. The Macdonald Institute column highlights the Macdonald Institute examination results, and alumnae activities. While the Alumni column provides alumni updates.
