Abstract: This issue begins with an article by Dr. Reynolds describing the symbolism of War Memorial Hall and memorial chamber. Agricultural articles pertain to the comparison of dairy equipment cleansers, the work of the Horticulture Department, and a new orchard pest - the Apple and Thorn Skeletonizer (Choreutis pariana). Profiled in this issue is Mrs. Stanley Potter and her work creating the wax fruit for the O. A. C. museum. Other articles include a travelogue by Mr. O. McConkey's of his travels through Europe, the election of Professor W. R. Graham to the Canadian Society of Technical Agriculturalists, ornithological observations, and the home addresses of the freshmen students. Campus news reports on the demolition of the Old Residence, the new weekly paper - "The Oacis", student social events, and the initiation flag fight. A new O. V. C. column presents articles on the O. V. C. Science Association, and the benefits of irradiating poultry. The News and Views column contains articles on the Ontario Beekeepers' Association, the profitability of muskrat pelts, and the programme for the Royal Winter Fair. The Macdonald Institute column provides instruction on creating jelly preserves, and alumnae activities. While the Alumni column provides alumni updates.
