Abstract
This issue continues the address given by Sir Clifford Sifton at the American Association for the Advancement of Science. Agricultural articles pertain to the economic crisis in agriculture, breeding Shorthorn cattle, the work of the British Columbia Land Settlement Board, and Dr. Zavitz' article on grain production. Professor Unwin continues his series on Canadian literature with an examination of the poets of the Great War. The second prize story of the O. A. C. Review competition is printed in this issue. Campus news reports on wintertime extracurricular activities such as the Athletic Concert, Cosmopolitan Club sleigh ride, and fundraising efforts for the War Memorial Hall Fund. The Alumni column contains a note on the distinguishment of alumnus William Thompson by the University of Paris, and alumni and alumnae updates. The Macdonald Institute column highlights the success of the Child Welfare Exhibit conducted at the Institute.
