Abstract

The agricultural articles in this issue pertain to preventing falsification of dairy records, the challenges of livestock judging, protecting buildings against lightning, fruit tree propagation, maintaining farm equipment, and marketing dairy products. Other articles address agricultural prosperity, and how the war has changed the chemical industry particularly for industrial dyes. The farm power column continues its topic of maintenance of gasoline engines. The highlight of the campus news is the visit by the Prince of Wales. The Macdonald Institute column provides additional details on the Royal visit, field day results, and alumnae news. The Alumni column contains alumni updates and a listing of all O. A. C. graduates who have surnames beginning with the letters "E" and "F".
