Abstract
This issue begins with an article encouraging subscribers to contribute funds for the building of War Memorial Hall. Agricultural articles address the problems of rural flight, economical feeding of hogs, maximizing egg production in poultry, selecting profitable dairy cows, and producing sugar in Canada. Other articles feature agriculture in Northern France and a travel diary about Grand Pre, Nova Scotia. Farm improvement articles feature the construction of silos, results of the Farm Management Survey for Oxford and Dundas Counties, and advice of when to invest in a tractor. Campus news highlights the opportunity of building a memorial hall and the O. A. C. examination results. The Macdonald Institute column provides photographs for the graduating women of 1919 and class photographs for the Junior Housekeepers, Junior Normals, and Junior Associates. The Alumni column contains alumni updates and a wartime biographical sketch also featured in the Guelph Mercury.
