The new school year begins with an article on the prospects for the 1913 rugby season, conducting a civil initiation of the new students, and advice on how a student should begin the new school year. Agricultural articles pertain to the profitability of beekeeping, and heredity in poultry. Printed in this issue is a short story by W. D. Hulbert. This issue also contains a report on the Student Co-operative Movement and the bylaws of the Co-operative Supply Department of the O. A. C. The athletic article features how to train for sprinting. The Macdonald column includes a welcome to the new students, names the delegates to the Y. W. C. A. conference and new Mac Hall president, and has a letter from an alumna. The Alumni column features four successful alumni employed as District Representatives for the Ontario Department of Agriculture. |
