Abstract: This issue's articles address the mandate of the Canadian Seed Growers' Association, H. G. Wells' perspective on socialism, successful methods of growing potatoes, and the necessity of tree planting on the Prairies. The Horticulture column features articles on fruit growing in Lambton County and Algoma. Campus news reports the annual field day results, the value of the campus fire brigade, activities of the Y. M. C. A., and the Union Society's debate. The Macdonald Institute column contains the Y. W. C. A. conference delegate's report, an update on the household science department at the University of Illinois, and the events of the At Home promenade. Alumni news is available in the Alumni column.
