This midwinter issue's articles pertain to the Canadian farmer and tariffs, the new ditching machines for digging trenches, the present state of dairy instruction in Ontario, and an alumnus' account of traveling through the Rockies and B. C. during winter. Agricultural articles address whether automobiles will replace harness horses, a report on the Short Courses in livestock and seed grain judging, and the experimental use of herbicides. Campus news pertain to the winter extracurricular activities of the Literary Society debates and mock parliament, the St. Valentine's At Home social, and winter athletic events. The Macdonald Institute column has articles regarding the perils of winter mail delivery to P. E.
