Title: Field trial of effects of various rates of TerraBioGen liquid organic fertilizer on performance of established creeping bentgrass/annual bluegrass fairway turf on a sand rootzone with standard and reduced fertilizer regime

Abstract: The objective of this research project was to compare the effects of various rates of the sponsor’s organic fertilizer products on performance, root and shoot growth of established creeping bentgrass/annual bluegrass fairway turf on a sand rootzone under a reduced fertilizer program. Turf performance data was collected through visual ratings of colour, quality, density, and uniformity as well as through canopy reflectance reading using normalized-difference vegetation index (NDVI). Root system growth was also measured by taking core samples and measuring dry weights. No significant treatment effects were detected in the experiment.
