Abstract

This issue begins with a memoriam to Professor Wade Toole. Agricultural articles pertain the breeding and conformation of Ayrshire cattle, the profitability of growing nuts, and temperature control of milk in the dairy industry. Other articles address apiary myths from the writings of Virgil, and herbal folk remedies. Continued in this issue is the column regarding the National Federation of Canadian University Students, with a focus on a report of the first annual convention. Campus news reports on the abundance of club meetings, athletic activities, and the Sophomore Dinner Dance. The Alumni column provides a listing of the O. A. C. graduates employed in the teaching profession, and alumni activities. The Macdonald Institute column highlights the Junior Institutional Tea, and alumnae updates.
