Abstract

This short report presents the results from an evaluation conducted by the Research Shop of a campus food market on campus at the University of Guelph. The Campus Community Market Pilot Project was a six-week, student-led initiative that aimed to bring local, healthy food to campus. This report explores the successes of the market, suggestions for improvement, and final conclusions and recommendations. The evaluation surveys found that this market was a viable way to address student food insecurity and provide the University of Guelph campus community with positive food experiences and increased access to nutritious foods.
