Abstract
The main purposes of this report are 1) to provides some basic water quality information on Lake Simcoe with emphasis on time trends in phosphorus, dissolved oxygen and related variables, and 2) to provide an alternative empirical approach to the development of a phosphorus/oxygen model, and to evaluate the resulting phosphorus loading/phosphorus concentration objectives for the lake from various water use perspectives (e.g. aesthetics, drinking water quality).
