Abstract
There Has To Be A Knife is an investigation of race, class, and knowing as it relates to the protagonist Omar, a 27-year-old immigrant who lives in downtown Toronto. Told in the first person present, the novel’s aim is to formally and theoretically interrogate ideas of Diasporic fiction.
