Abstract

This issue begins with an article on how the increased expense of railway transportation is affecting the farmer. Continued in this issue is the third nature study article, this one regarding apple trees. An alumnus contributed an article on his travels in the Abitibi Region, while a student contributed a short story. The agricultural articles pertain to the educational value of livestock shows and an update from the experimental feed department. The horticultural articles address the wages of labourers in the fruit industry and propagating tomatoes. Campus news reports on the new residence master, the activities of the Y. M. C. A. and Union Literary Society. The Macdonald Institute column comments on the reopening of the classes after the Christmas holiday. The "Our Old Boys Page" contains alumni news. While the Locals column provides campus humour.
