Empowering Leadership Program is a manual designed for facilitators conducting a psycho-educational group for teenagers participating in the Counsellor in Training (CIT) program through Camp Joshua. The intention of this group is to teach these CITs important leadership goals and strategies as well as the importance of leadership in the summer camp setting. Another aspect of this portion of the Counsellor in Training program is to foster the leadership abilities of each of the participants and create a strong support network for each of them. This manual supports the importance the CITs are to feel as part of the growing staff of Camp Joshua and hopes to instil a sense of pride in the work that they are doing.
