Abstract

This study evaluates the efficiency of seventeen chemical and control treatments on creeping bentgrass turf in controlling snow mould disease. Disease concentrate was applied in November 1999, and the first treatment was applied to bare ground in December of the same year. The treatments applied were as follows: Daconil 2787 (512mL/100m2), Scotts FFII (3100g/100m2) and Arrest 75W(375g/100m2). These treatments are fungicide registered and are recommended to be used in the control of snow mould disease. All treatments provided excellent control in preventing the growth of snow mould disease except Banner Maxx (32 m L/100m2).
