Abstract

Moss is one of the biggest problems that is faced when establishing and maintaining golf course greens. This is due to the low mowing height, low nutrients in the soil and high foot traffic. This report talks in detail about previous moss control studies, studies with copper hydroxide based products, and a number of different Ontario moss control trials. The studies disclosed all show results based on trials containing iron, copper sulphate, copper hydroxide, and soap-based experimental trials.
