Abstract

The purpose of this project is: 1. To compare two tillage systems (mulch-till and no-till) for corn. 2. To evaluate response of corn to rates of nitrogen (N). 3. To compare three sources of N for corn-urea, urea-ammonium nitrate (UAN) solution (28%N) and anhydrous ammonia (AA). 4. To compare various methods and times of applying UAN solution to urea broadcast, and AA knifed in application for corn. 5. To study the interaction effects of the above factors.
