The first issue of the year contains agricultural articles on apiculture in Glengarry County, the District Representative and agricultural extension work, and the corn yield in 1916. The poultry article pertains to poultry hygiene. Other articles address the Students Co-operative Association involvement in the co-operative movement, and agricultural education for teachers. Campus news focuses on the start of the new school year with a lower enrollment, and encourages students to participate in campus organizations. The Macdonald column features tips for new students. The Alumni column includes alumni news and those alumni affected by the war.
