Abstract

This Christmas issue begins with a Christmas tale authored by Cecil Cox. Horticultural articles debate whether courses are meeting the present day requirements, and the art of greenkeeping. Agricultural articles pertain to the results of forage crop experiments, the Irish potato, advances in animal nutrition, and agricultural conditions in Montana. Other articles include reminiscences submitted to the editor, and an Atlantic Monthly article on college education. Campus news reports on the soccer and basketball team results, the Senior Banquet, Sophomore Dinner, and Junior Dance. The Alumni column provides a summary of the O. A. C. Alumni Banquet and an update of alumni activities. The Macdonald Institute column includes an article on household economics as a career and alumnae updates.
