In March 2016, the User Experience Team conducted usability tests with seven students to investigate the inclusion (or not) of the Altmetric badge in our discovery system, Primo. Based on our research we made three recommendations: (1) include Altmetric in Primo; (2) keep the aesthetics and badge location the same; and (3) provide a more detailed description of Altmetric and its purpose.
