Supporting Youth Transitions: Respecting Dignity, Fulfilling Dreams

Abstract

This project was conducted by four Community Living organizations in southern Ontario (Stratford and Area, Guelph and Wellington, Cambridge, and Owen Sound and District) in collaboration with the Community Engaged Scholarship Institute. These reports and infographics share the findings of research exploring the priorities, decisions and dreams of young people transitioning from Children’s Services to Adult Developmental Services; and the capacity of existing services to fully support these youth. They include a series of policy and practice recommendations aimed at better addressing needs moving forward.
