Ted Hewitt is the president of the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC). In his keynote address, Mr. Hewitt explains the Tri-Agency's (SSHRC, CIHR, and NSERC) work to develop policies that will support Open Access. Both the Tri-Agency Open Access Policy on Publications and the Tri-Agency Data Management Initiative are discussed.
