Abstract

Anthracnose basal rot and foliar blight are common diseases found on many turfgrass plants including creeping bentgrass and annual bluegrass. These diseases are caused by the fungus Colletotrichum graminicola. This study illustrates in depth the symptoms, lifecycle, conditions favouring the disease, general management recommendations of the diseases. A survey was also conducted and the outline and results are featured in the report.
